Returns, Replacements & Resolution Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

Every order we produce is custom-made specifically for you.

Unlike traditional retail products, our garments are decorated with your logos, chapter branding, artwork, colors, names, and event details. Because of this, most products cannot be resold or repurposed once production has been completed.

For that reason, our goal isn't simply to process returns—we're committed to working with you to find the fairest possible resolution whenever an issue arises.

1. Custom-Made Products

Unless otherwise required by law, all products manufactured by Ink Theory Corp. are considered custom-made.

As a result, we generally do not accept returns for:

  • Incorrect size selections provided during ordering
  • Change of mind
  • Event cancellations
  • Preference changes after production
  • Minor variations within normal manufacturing tolerances
  • Products that have been worn, washed, altered, or modified after delivery

Because these products are customized specifically for you or your organization, returned merchandise cannot be restocked or resold.

2. Our Commitment

If something isn't right, we want to hear about it.

While we don't believe every situation requires a full refund or complete reprint, we do believe every concern deserves to be reviewed fairly and professionally.

Our goal is always to work together to reach a reasonable solution that reflects the nature of the issue while respecting both your investment and the work involved in producing custom merchandise.

3. Reporting an Issue

If you believe there's a problem with your order, please notify us within 5 calendar days of delivery.

To help us review your claim as quickly as possible, we may request:

  • Photographs of the products
  • Photographs of packaging
  • Order information
  • A description of the concern
  • Quantity affected
  • Any additional information that may help our review

Prompt reporting allows us to investigate efficiently and, where appropriate, coordinate with our production or shipping partners.

Please use the Order Issue Form to report any issue.

4. How Claims Are Evaluated

Every claim is reviewed individually by our Core Operations team.

When evaluating a claim, we consider factors such as:

  • The nature of the issue
  • The number of products affected
  • The overall impact on the order
  • Supporting documentation
  • Production records
  • Shipping information, where applicable

No two situations are exactly alike, and we believe each deserves thoughtful consideration.

5. Possible Resolutions

Depending on the circumstances, resolutions may include one or more of the following:

  • Replacement of affected products
  • Partial refund
  • Store credit
  • Promotional or discount code toward a future purchase
  • Gift card
  • Another mutually agreed solution

Our goal is always to resolve concerns in a fair and reasonable manner rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

6. Partial Refunds

When a refund is appropriate, it may not necessarily apply to the full order.

If only a portion of an order is affected, any refund or credit will generally reflect the extent of the issue rather than the total purchase value.

Ink Theory Corp. reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution after reviewing the circumstances of each claim.

7. Shipping Delays

Once an order has been released to the shipping carrier, delivery timelines are largely controlled by the carrier.

If an order experiences shipping delays, we'll gladly assist in working with the carrier and keeping you informed throughout the process.

Where a refund is determined to be appropriate due solely to shipping delays, any refund will generally not exceed 50% of the affected order value, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.

8. Missed Event Dates

We understand that many orders are tied to important events such as Bid Day, Recruitment Week, Greek Week, Homecoming, Philanthropy Events, Formals, and other milestone occasions.

If a confirmed delivery commitment made by Ink Theory Corp. is not met and, as a direct result, your order misses its intended event, we'll work closely with you to determine the most appropriate resolution.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include a partial refund, replacement merchandise, store credit, or, in exceptional cases, a full refund.

Our priority is always to make things right whenever reasonably possible.

9. Order Issues

An order issue can be anything that affects the customer experience or the final delivered product.

We encourage every customer to review proofs carefully before approving production.

10. No Return Requirement

In most situations, we will not require products to be returned.

Because custom merchandise cannot typically be resold, customers may be asked to retain, donate, recycle, or responsibly dispose of affected products once a resolution has been reached.

If a return is ever required for quality investigation, we'll provide instructions before any items are shipped back.

11. Working Together

Our goal has never been to win disputes.

Our goal is to build long-term relationships.

Whenever an unexpected issue arises, we believe the best outcomes come from open communication, mutual respect, and a willingness to work together toward a fair solution.

We'll always make every reasonable effort to reach a resolution that reflects both the circumstances of the issue and the trust you've placed in Ink Theory Corp.

Ink Theory Corp. reserves the right to review each claim individually and update this policy from time to time. The version published on our website at the time an order is placed will apply to that order.
